CLIENT INFORMATION

HICAPS and Medicare rebates are available. All credit card and eftpos transactions are accepted. There is a $25 cancellation fee for appointments cancelled within 24 hours notice.

Please contact reception via email or phone 02 6687 1683 if you have any queries. Please email or leave a message if you cannot attend your appointment ASAP. Please bring your referral with you or ask your referrer to email or fax your information to 02 6687 2537.

Fees

$150 per hour; Medicare and Health fund rebate  approximately $84.80

Bulk billing available for eligible clients. Some providers ensure there is no gap payment if attending HP under an ATAPS, DVA, Work/State Cover, other insurance providers (check provider), NSW Victims or other state victims services referral. Please follow the links to their websites in the referral provider section.

Session Time

Sessions are 50-60 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your initial session to allow for paperwork. Thank you.

ATAPS – Access To Allied Health Professionals Service. Part of a government funded local service aimed to provide mental health care to people at risk of suicide or self-harming, homeless, pregnant or post-natal, indigenous, under 25 or experiencing psychosis. Referrals can be made by your GP, Psychiatrist, Community Health Worker or hospital worker.  https://www.ncphn.org.au

Without A Referral

Private Health Fund Insurance – Check with your fund to see if you are eligible. Rebates approximately $85 per session. NB: You are not eligible for additional private health fund rebate if your referral is a Medicare GP Mental Health Care Plan. Maximum $85 rebate per session under Medicare or private health insurance.

REFERRER INFORMATION

For GPs

If you have referred a client to me you will receive letters periodically on provisional diagnosis and diagnosis, treatment plan, management plan and session progress, psychometric testing and other assessments if relevant.

Other relevant information will be included of a biopsychosocial and behavioural nature.  Risk, suicide and self-harm assessments will be given as per client requirements.

For Medicare referrals you will receive client updates after sessions 1, 6 and 10, or a cessation of service or due to certain circumstances requiring you to receive information about my client.

For ATAPS referrals you will receive client updates after sessions 1, 6, 12, 18 and so forth.

For DVA and insurance clients you will receive letters usually every 1st, 6th and then every session lot granted thereafter.

For NSW Justice clients the psychologist sends feedback directly to NSW Victims Services after the 1st  and 21st sessions.

For Psychiatrists

If you have referred a client to me you will receive letters periodically on provisional diagnosis and diagnosis, treatment plan, management plan and session progress, psychometric testing and other assessments if relevant.

Other relevant information will be included of a biopsychosocial and behavioural nature.  Risk, suicide and self-harm assessments will be given as per client requirements.

For ATAPS referrals you will receive client updates after sessions 1, 6, 12 and every 6th session ongoing up to a maximum of 18 for all streams per calendar year except for Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention Schemes; more sessions are available for these schemes.
